All Wrapped Up!

All Wrapped Up!: Groovy Gift Wrap of the 1960sThis is a fun visual book that has been sitting on my bookshelf for a year or so. I've flipped through it many times, each time finding something new to discover. I finally got around to 'reading' it recently. Though largely visual, it's an interesting read describing the history of the wrapping paper industry.

To my delight, it contains an image of holiday wrap that I was drawn to only to realize it was something from my past. One of the Christmas tree designs was wrapping paper that my grandmother used when I was probably 4-5 years old. A fun nostalgic flashback for sure and a reminder of how quickly decades fly by!

Fabric has arrived!

It was an exciting week - fabric swatches arrived and my helper, Juju the cat, was ready to inspect.
